DIOCESAN SCHOOL

Good Results at St. Mary’s.

A meeting of the Board of Governors of St. Mary's Diocesan School for Girls, Stratford, was held last evening. Miss Wilson (Principal) stated in her report that there were 44 boarders, who came from all parts of the North Island, and a number of day girls. The school was now practically full. One student sat for the matriculation examination and was successful, while four sat for the School Leaving Certificate, three passing. Four out of five passed the intermediate music examination, and eleven out of twelve were successful in the Theory of Music examination of the Associated Board of Music. A number in the Junior School passed the proficiency test.
