Press Association —Copyright. New York, April 5. Patrolman Patrick Conroy was killed o-day when demonstrating how he aught a pet dog to disarm a gunnan. Conroy pointed the revolver ind the dog leaped at his wrist and ipset the patrolman. The weapon was discharged and the bullet entered ;he man's heart. The patrolman’s stepson, aged 10. re-enacted the scene with a toy pistol to convince the police that death was accidental. Conroys' last words were: “The dog was not to blame.”
