Accidents in Wellington. Press Association—Copyright. Wellington, April 2. Two men 'are i hospital with serious ijuries resolved in accidents in WelIngton to-night. A middlte-ag-®d man who was knocked down by a tramcar near thlTc ocher of Taranaki Street and Courtenay Place was latir identified at Mr. A. Simister. and his address was given as the Imperial Hotel, Wellington. At a late hour to night he was still unconscious and a wound over he left eye. Stephen Higgins, agetf 29,a carpenter, was knocked down by a car at the corner of Adelaide Road and Drummond Street. He received a ’ractured skull, a compound to the forehead and concussion. His condition is serious. Both accidents' occurred at a time when wet roads made visibility poor.
