| DISTRIBUTION COSTS Revision of Differentials in Province. Within the latt two months oil companies raised the price of petrol by one penny per gallon and now there has been a further rise in several Taranaki towns due to a revision of differentials, that is, the cost of distribution from the main ports to the various.’ sellers. From Nev.' Plymouth to Stratford the differential clnirge was Id, but it has now been raistd to lid to the motorists. The differentials, generally, are rather confusing. Stratford is in an area or zone whi th excludes Tariki and Inglewood and runs.' right up to i Urenui. Before the revision Tariki v.-ias a Jd below Sratford, Toko id above Stratford, and Ngaere and Cardiff were Jd above Stratford. Under the new differentials Inglewood is not affected. At Tariki there is an. increase of id, land at Waipuku and Midhirst, which are in the same i zone as Stratford, there is an increase of id. There is no increase at Toko, but Cardiff has gone up by id. At Eltham there is no increase.
