The last of the recent series of westerly depressions is now passing away eastward, and an intense anticyclone is advancing across the Tasman Sea. Th e forecast is for moderate to j ctrong southerly to south-easterly winds* decreasing to-morrow, : ne weather will be fair and cold. Sea;', rather rough to rough, but*decreasing to morrew.
