HEALTH CAMPS FOR CHILDREN. Stratford Fund To Be Opened A decision, to open a fund at Stratford this Week for <the receipt of contributions to a King George V memorial fund was l made at a meeting of the Borough Council last night. Contributions may be left a-t the'Borough Council office or at newspaper offices. The Mayor, Mr. J. W. McMillan, said that the Government desired to establish two children’s health camps in the North Island and two in the South Island. It had contributed £25,000 and desired public contributions to the extent of £25,000 by June 3. ft was hoped to obtain £lOO,OOO, but £50,000 was the minimum required to enable the efficient functioning ot the camps.
