BRITISH NAVY.
(British Official Wireless.) Rugby, March 31. Ihe British Admiralty announces the appointment of Rear-Admiral Guy Royie to be rear-admiral of aircraftcarriers in succession to Vice-Admiral Noel Laurence, to date from Juljj 27. Rear-Admiral Royie was commanding officer of the aircraft-carrier Glorious in September, 1934, when he was appointed naval secretary to the First Lord of the Admiralty. He will relinquish these duties on June 7 in favour of Rear-Admiral Whitworth.
