The British Government has ( requested an explanation from Italy regarding the order served on the Indian diiain stores in Abyssinia. The company wias told on March 6 that it must close down, the time limit being fixed at eighteen days. After strong representations by the British Consuls at Addis Ababa and Rome, the time limit was extended indefinitely, but no explanation has been given
