CHILD PARALYSIS.
Further Cases Reported. Press Association—Copyright. Wellington, March 31. A boy and a girl, members of the same family living in the city, were admitted to the Auckland Hospital today as suspected cases of infantile paralysis. Neither has yet been determined a positive case, but one is regarded by the hospital authorities as strongly suspect. A boy of 11 was admitted to the Wellington Hospital strongly suspected of suffering from paralysis. The Ohiro School, which he attended, has been closed until further notice. The death from paralysis of a woman aged 27 was announced at Christchurch yesterday. The woman died in the Waimate Hospital, having been admitted from St. Andrew’s. The case of a boy aged eight, from St. Andrew’s, was also notified yesterday. A suspected case of paralysis, that of a boy of eight years from Mornington, was admitted to Dunedin Hospital for observation. This is the first Dunedin notification since March 4. The case of a the boy at Clyde has proved negative.
