CALL AT WELLINGTON

Before Return to Pago Pago. Press Association—Copyright. Auckland. March 30. Unless unusual local, weather conditions or other unforeseen difficulties the Pan-American Airways clipper plane will probably make a courtesy call at Wellington, as the capital city of the Dominion, on Friday morning. The clipper will begin the flight before eight o’clock and is expected to arrive at 10 o’clock. If the flight to Wellington is finally decided upon the clipper will make only a short stay there, for she is to undergo a, brief overhaul before starting on the return flight to Pago Pago early on Saturday morning.

Three alternative anchorages in Wellington harbour have been discuss* ed, but the direction of the wind will be the deciding factor. The suggested anchorages are Evans Bay. Oriental Bay, or a point off the Thorndon sea wall.
