Significant Figures. London, March 30. The British Broadcasting Corporation last year had a total income of £2,953,469, of which £2,509,750 was derived from licence fees. In 1935 the total income' was £2,472.572 and income from licences £2,042,844. Net revenue from 8.8. C. publications last year wlas £442,009. Expenditure on plant and office equipment for television last year amounted to £123,546. In regard to licences' for sound receiving sets, and profit on publications, the 8.8. C. report expressed the view that saturation point is approaching.
