Following a train wreck on the Trans-Caucasus railway. In which two Red Army officers were seriously injured and thirteen coaches derailed, the assistant stationmaster was executed.

The engine-drivers of the two trains were sentenced to ten years’ and seven years’ Imprisonment, and two guards to three years’ imprisonment.
