Received 11 a.m. Madrid, March 25, In an effort to prevent the rebels encircling Pozoblanco, 37 miles north of the city of Cordova, Andalusia, and drive the Insurgents from the province of Cordova, Government forces, following tactics which were successful on the Guadalajara front, bombed and machine-gunned enemy concentrations for hours.
They claim that they inflicted great lesses, after which they made advances substantially north and south of Pozoblanco.
