LIQUID-COOLED ENGINE
BRITISH EXPERIMENTS, Advantages in Military Flying Press Association —Copyright. Received 1.15 p.m. London, March 26. The Daily Telegraph says that Britain is experimenting with a liquidcooled engine, specially designed for strathospherlc flights. An effort will be made to raise the height record above 50,000 feet. However, the object is much more serious than record-breaking. High flying offers advantages for commercial and military flying, chiefly in that the approach of the machine will be difficult to see and hear.
