Colonel A. Dillon-Canbery, of Wellington, is visiting his sister, Mrs. Uniacke, Regan Street, during the Easter holidays. | Mr. R. M. Burgess, of the Stratford I railway office, has receive d notice of | his transfer to Oha’kune. I Mr. P. McCartney, of the Stratford railway goods office, has? been trarisfred to Wanganui. Mr. Harry Hunt, of Monmouth I Road, who underwent an operation at the Stratford Hospital on Thursday, is. progressing satisfactorily. The death has occurred, a Napier j Press Association message states, of Mr. Robert Coleburn Wright, a former member of the Hawke’s Bay Education Board and one of the founders of the Napier Thirty Thousand Club. Mr W. J. Shanly, private secretary to the Minister of Labour, Hon. H. P. Armstrong, will accompany the Minister to the International Labour Conference at Geneva, in the position I of decredited ady*ser.
