GOLFER AT 75.

Left Fortune of £211,000. Mrs Alice Mary Moor, of The Drive, Hove, Sussex, who, it war recently announced, left estate of the gross value of £211,576, played golf up to within a few months of her death at the age of 75. Rev W. G. R. Allen, a beneficiary under the will, and vhose church was built by Mrs Moor as a memorial to her late husband, said to a Daily Mail reporter:

“Mrs Moor was not only an active member of the church, but was a very keen golfer. She was president of two women’s golf clubs, and continued to play up to vlthin a few months of 'her death, 'although her handicap went up from about 19 to nearly 30.’’

Mrs Moor was the widow of Prebendary Gerald Moor, former vicar of PreEton, Brighton. Her fortune came from her father’s family. She left £ 100 ft and her home to Mr Allen, who is vicar of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Preston, Brighton. She bequeathed him a further £JOOO for having been one of her husband’s curates at the time of his death in 1916, and she also left £3OOO his son Michael Allen (her godton), £5OO to his son Stanley, and £lOO to his wife. Bequests amounting to £10,350 ’were made to a number of church Objects, and five other clergymen benefited to a total of £8250.
