ANZAC TRADITION.

Unique Observance at Adelaide. Adelaide, March 24. Adelaide's observance of Anzac Day this year will be unique in the history of this annual commemoration—it will be solemn in the morning and bright in the afternoon. There will be the usual march through the city of returned men in the morning. The afternoon, however, will be given over to sport. There will be a football match at the ■Adelaide Oval, and a race meeting at Morphettville. A trotting meeting will be held at night. Proceeds from all three sporting fixtures will be given to the Sailors and Soldiers' Distress Fund.

Profits from the race meeting will be assisted as a result of many prominent citizens having followed the lead of the Governor. Sir Winston Dugan, in nominating mythical horses. 1
