Press Association—Copyright. (Received 1120 p.m.) London, March 22. Having persuaded the British Boxing Board of Control to renew his license, George Cook, the veteran Australian boxer, is seeking fresh opponents. On February 18 it was stated that the "British Boxing Board of Control bat' announced thlait It Defuses to renew George Cook's license. This may prevent Cook from carrying out his plan for a fight to celebrate his sliver jubilee as a professional.’’ Cook at that time said: “I am still fit, and am not going to be stopped by a lot of men judging m.e by the average boxers' aged 39 who do not live right. If the Press, after my next fight, say I am ’washed up and through,’ I will be prepared to quit gladly.’’ ,
