ENGLISH WEDDING.
N.Z. Aviator Weds English j Girl London, February .27. At Chelsea Old Church, on February 25. the marriage took place of Mr Francis Charles Chichester, son of the Rev Charles Chichester and Mrs Chichestei*, Morven, Exton, Devon, to Miss Sheila Mary Craven, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Get'ald Craver-, of Belle Eau Park. Notts, and Coin, St. Ald-tvyns, Glos. The ceremony was performed by The bridegroom's father, assisted by the Rev Frederick Copleston and the Rev R. E. Sadleir. The bride, wlo was escorted by Sir Sidney Barton, wore a beautiful gown of ivory slipper satin, made with a short train. He r tulle veil was held in place by a cluster of camellias, and her bouquet Was of the same j bowers. Her ornaments were an aquamarine and diamond bracelet I and clip. The two pages were godsons of the bride—Messrs Robin Baker-White and Clive Foster. Mr Marcus Chichester was best man and the groomsmen were Mr David Macewen and Mr George Ritchie. Craven, Marquis and Marchioness of Ely, Sir Eric Mievelle, Sir Sidney and Lady Barton, the Hon Mrs Alfred Lyttelton, Countess of Clonmel], Lady- Craik, Mrs G. Thompson, Sir Edward and Lady Chichesler, Wing-Commander and Mrs GrantDalton, Sir Stephen Renshaw, Lady Sheila Durlacher, the Rev Hugh Nel-son-Ward, Major and Mrs de Haulland, Mr and Mrs Marcus Chichester, Captain Christopher Tancred, the Misses Bryan, Mr and Mrs F. Burgess, the Misses Beckwith, Captain and Mrs Michael Slade, and Mr and Miss Page. The bride travelled in a crepe dress of dark brown, With halo hat, and a dark brown tweed coat trimmed with revers of lynx fur. The bride and bridegroom will leave for New Zealand by the Rangitane, sailing on March 4. The bridegroom gave the bride <a leather-bound set of his books on. flying, and one of the bride's gTltf to the bridegroom was a. miniature of 'he- Johnston Memorial Navigation Trophy.
