i Big Race Ctowd Anticipated. ■ Te Kapua Park, the home of the I Stratford Racing Club, will be the ) Mecca of thousands of visitors to • Stratford to-morrow on the occaj sion of the autumn fixture for 1937. Despite the severe frost this week, which struck the flowers rather badly, there is still a fine display, this being a feature of the well-kept lawns and appointments. The weather appears to be set for a fine day, and the club’s arrangements in catering for a big crowd are as complete as usual. The fields in the various events will be of a good average- number, I and the racing is sure to produce j some fine contests. With few ex- : captions, all the acceptors will I face the barrier. J A feature of the meeting will be the first contest for the Budge Memorial in which the splendid field of ten will compete. The first race, the Autumn Hurdles, will start at 12 noon.
