ARMY RATIONS MARGAINE REPLACED Great Benefit to New Zealand Press Association—• Copyright. Received 10.45 a.m. London, March 16. The Australian Associaaied Press is informed that the British Government has decided largely to replace margarine with butter throughout the Navy, Army, and Air Force. It will be all Empire butter, resulting in New Zealand and Australia securing large order*. The soldier* at present do not receive butter, but in future they will be given an ounce of butter and half an ounce of margarine daily, excepting at stations abroad where it is impracticable to issue butter. The extra food ration* are operating henceforth throughout the Army, including an extra meal, with more meat and milk, which will also benefit New Zealand and Australia.
