Fate of Alsatians in Victoria. Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, March 15. The Victorian Government, aiming to abolish Alsatian dogs., has fixed an annual registration ot £2 15s for each dog, with a heavy fine for possessing unregistered Alsatians. Owners; rather lhan pay t ie heavy registration fee, are permitting the authorities t« destroy dogs. A lethal chamber has destroyed in a lew weeks 1250 dogs, and- it is cxpectftl hundreds more will have been killed by the end of the week.
