Joll 'D-vrv Company's ' main factory and nlanf and about 1200 cheeses at Okinawa yesterday afternoon. The damage is estimated at about £ll,OOO, and allhough the building and plant were insured it is estimated thot the company will lose between £3OOO fir-I £4OOO. The insurance on the building was covered by the Farm. rs’ Mutual Insurance Company, but the cheeses were covered by the Dairy Board. It is thought the fire was caused by a spark from the boil r room igniting material in the waxing' room.
