Progressive Pairs on Stratford Green. Progressive pairs were played on the Stratford green during the weekend, 28 players taking part. Five games of seven heads were played, the winning skip being W. E. Wil liams, with 4J wins. He won on the aggregate score against D. It. Turnbull with 4J wins. The winning lead was W. Burgess with 5 wins, P. Jones being second with 4 wins. An Auckland rink, comprising Stokes, Keeling, Foote, Millen (s.), 23, defeated a Stratford rink, Porritt, Dickson, Boyd, Liddell (s.), 22.
