Minister’s Efforts on Tour. Press Association—Copyright. Rotorua, March 12. The Speaker, Hon. W. E. Barnard, who is- concluding a tour of the Dominion in the interests of the Five Million Club, in an interview to-day stated that he was very pleased with the result o fthe tour and the response of the people to his advocacy tor increasing the Dominion's popu lation.

Mr Barnard, during Ms visit to Rotorua, inspected military units in camp at Arawa Park and addressed the men on behalf of the Minister of Defence. After inspecting various phases- of the training operations he congratulated the men on their enthusiasm and efficiency.
