FAMOUS ACTOR PASSES

Death of Mr. W. Graham Browne.

Press Association—tjopynght. Received 11.30 a.m. London, March 11.

The death has occurred of Mr. W. Graham Browne, the well-known actor, and husband of Miss Marie Tempest, the celebrated pomedy actress. Both will be well remembered in Australia and New Zealand.

Miss Tempest says that she will play to-night, as it was her husband’s last wish.

Mr Browne died from double pneumonia. He became ill on March 3. Both on the previous evening had been received by Queen Mary during the interval of the play.
