A BUSY DAY.

Large Influx of Visitors to Town To-morrow. Tb-morrow should be a record day for Stratford measured in terms of the number of visitors to the town. The first attraction is the Autumn Show, and to-morrow being People -t Day, with a specially arranged' programme of entertainment, visftbrs from all parts of Taranaki ar sure to Ibe present. If the attendance can be gauged by the excellenc of the sTibw. then a record should be made by that attraction alone. At 11 a.m. the Stratford Town Hall Is expected to hold tome 400 members of the Federation of Dairy Companies at a special general meeting, and it is not difficult to foresee many of fiie madding to the influx of visitors to the show when their busTnbes engagement is over. Added to both these attractions is the annual picnic of the New Ply. mouth Waterside Workers’ Union to be held at King Edward Park. A special train, which on the figures. l ot past years, should bring over 1000 people l , is due at Stratford at 10.17, and a full programme of entertainment for the picnickers has been~provided by the New Plymouth organisation. In all, there should be thousands ot visitors in Stratford to-morrow, a fact which should accentuate the central position and the natural advantages of the town.
