Chocolate Apricot Custard. Ona small tin of apricots, 1 dessertspoon cocoa, 1J tablespoons sugar, li tablespoons cornflour, 1 dessertspoon butter, 11 pints milk, A teaspoon vanilla essence. Bring milk tb near boiling point, stir in the cornflour and cocoa, mixed to a smooth paste with a little cold milk, add sugar, butter and vanilla, stir for several minutes. Turn mixture into Email wet cups. When set, turn out on a dish, place an apricot on each, and make a border of apricots all round, pile shipped cream on each apricot. QUIET WEDDING AT HOLY TRINITY. A quiet wedding was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church on Monday, March 8, toy Rev. K. J. McFarland. The bride was Miss Dorothea Joan, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Mail. Fenton Street, Stratford, and the bridegroom, Mr John Kenneth, youngest son of Mr and Mrs T. Richardson, also of Fenton Street, Stratford. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, looked oharajng in a chic navy costume, relieved with touches of white. Her hat and shoes were to tone, and she carried an ivory prayer book. Her sister, Mrs Forbes-Faulk - aer, acted as Matron of Honour and vOre a smart fawn and white costunre. Mr Guy Richardson was best man. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s (parents, where relatives of the bride and bridegroom were entertained. The bridal party left for Auckland by the night express train. The honeymoon will be spent in the North, and their future residence win be in Stratford.
