This was only a test, but it proved so successful that experiments have been started to develop this powerful aid to crime detectton. As soon as possible e*very police station will be equipped with television apparatus;, including special cameras and mobile vans' with receivers and transmitters. Already experts working for Scotland Yard have transmitted over a 50-mile radius, compared with the present 2“ miles' used for entertainment purposes.
