Mrs A. W. Budge ’was a bridge hositets yesterday afternoon.
Miss T. Leydon, Miss C. Dehnon and Mist Iremonger, who have been on a motor tour of the North Isiand, and staying here with friends, returned on Sunday.
Miss Inez Taylor, vho has been staying- with her sister. Miss Taylor, of the Vicarage, le'flt last night for her home in Auckland.
Mrs L*. Riera has returned from a
long visit to Auckland, where {he visited her daughters, Mi *5 O’Neil and Mrs Shinner. During her holiday she also visited Rotorua.
Mrs J. B. Richards gave an after 1 noon tea party on Monday at her resi- ! dence, Pembroke Road. Those present j were Mesdames H. Good, W. H. H. Young, N. H. Thorpe, L. J. Furrie, J. Fredric, E. S. Rutherfurd, F. Uniacke, W. J. Spence and the Misses Brownley, ot Dunedin.
