LONDON ELECTIONS.

Labour Wins County Council Majority. Press Association—Copyright. London-, March 5. The state of the parties in the London County Council elections, after 94 results were declared are as follows:—Labour, 54; Municipal Reformers, 40. Each side gained four seats from the other and there is thus no nett change so far. The remaining 30 results will be declared to-day. The state of the parties in the old council were, Labour 69 and Municipal Reformers 55. The Times says that unless there are decided changes in to-day’s declarations Labour is likely to retain control of the Government of London for the next three years. A cable message received this morning gives the information that Labour has since secured six additional gains, including two in North Kensington, The final state of parties shows the Socialists with 76 seats and the opposition with 49.
