Mrs G. Cress Well, Broadway North, entertained the members of the Portland Bridge Club yesterday afternoon. She received her guests in a becoming black frock with coloured corsage motif. Her drawing-room looked gay with lilies and multi-coloured hydrangeas. Those playing were Mesdames W. J. Spence, L. Jardine, A. Coleman, L. J. Furrle, G. Hale McLean, Jefferies.
