Mr. Naotake Sato, Ambassador to France, has been appointed Foreign Minister in Japan, and Mr. Wang Chung-hul, former Premier, has been appointed Foreign Minister of China. * * * Alpine Medals Barred. The S'w'iss alpine clubs have decided tir forbid members to wear Olympic and other, medals won in snow sports .because “such distinctions' do not lead to the healthy development of alpine spofts.” * * * Coronation Naval Review. No Australian ships are to attend the coronation review. The cruiser Leander will delay her departure in order to represent New Zealand. The Japanese Government is sending the cruiser Ashigara to the coronation naval review. * * *
Swedish Visit to England. The Swedish Foreign Minister, M. Sandler, who at a recent meeting" of the League of Nations at Geneva accepted the British Foreign Secretary’sinvitation to pay a visit to England, will arrive in London on March 15 and leave on March 18.
