PARENTS’ STRIKE.
Trouble At School In Ireland.
Press Association —Copyright. Received 10.45 a.m. London, March 4. Fifty parents of school children are on strike on Achill Island, Ireland. They assaulted the teacher and roughly handled two constables. Police reinforcements were necessary before the parents were routed. The strike was due to the teacher’s refusal to prepare meals.
