A promise that immediate inquiries l would be made into a statement that white pine had been exported to Austiralaa, manpfacttured into buttfelr boxes and shipped to New Zealand at a lower price than boxes can be manufactured here, was contained in a ie‘ter received at to-day’s meeting of the Stratford sub-provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union from Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Industrie’s and Commerce.
