The name Christabel was- chosen by the Duke and Duchess to recall the fact that their daughter was born on Christmas Day. She was also named Helen after her grandmother, Prim' cess- Nicholas of Greece; Olga and Elizabeth, are the names of the Duchess of Kent’s sisters; and Alexandra was the name of the boy’sgreat grandmother, Queen Alexandra. All these are family names in the House of sieswig-Holstein-Sonder-burg-Glucksburg, the Royal House of Denmark and Greece.
