RUNAWAY ENGINE
Tragic Train Collision In Italy. Press Association—Copyright. Received 1.45 p.m. Rome, March 3. Two were killed and six injured when a runaway engine collided with a train near Udine. The brakes failed and, seeing that a collision was inevitable, the driver seized the fireman and threw him out in the hope of saving his life. The fireman was injured and the driver and the guard of the train were killed.
