The council decided to Inform the committee that it wait in agreement with the answers submitted by ihe New Zealand University Senate: and that it proposed to consider the matter in detail and would avail itself of the right to give evidence jietore tbe committee. It was emphasised that the council was concerned only with the matters in the questionnaire relating to universal education.
