HOSPITAL BOARD.

Charges Against Contractor at Auckland Press Association—Copyright. Auckland, Last Night. The supply of bread to the Auckland Hospital Board for its various institutions was further considered by the finance and purchasing committee of the board to-day. The contractor for the supply of bread, Mr. E. J. Thomas, of the Crown Bakery Company, was represented by his solicitpr, Mr. Hogben. After a full discussion it was agreed to give Mr. Thomas until next Wednesday to reply to various charges made. It was claimed by Mr. Hogben that a complete answer could be made to certain charges if reasonable time were given.

A sp cial meeting of the committee Will be held to consider Mr. Thomas' reply.
