“Rattletrap” to Rescue.
The Hon. R. Semple, Minister of Transport, yesterday had an experience of the value of old cars. His own car broke down about four miles south of Ashburton, and the Minister was towed into town by an old model “rattletrap” of the class he has been condemning. Mr. Semple immediately hired another car and proceeded northward.
