Care of Gloves.
Black kid gloves usually go shabby at the finger-tips, while the rett of the gloves, are in good condition. To freshen them, mix a drop or two ol olive oil with a little marking ink and apply this to the shabby places. To clean white gloves at home, rub a little flour on the dirty parts. Heavy kid and hogskin gloves, which are not improved by rain, should be treated with a, mixture of glycerine and vaseline. To keep these gloves soft, rub a little furniture cream into them novJ and again. Never use water on suede, deerskin, and similar gloves. Remove grease spots with petrol, and brush them occasionally with a ruibber brush. Fur-backed gloves should be cleaned from time to time with a warmed powdered magnesia.
