The Indian provincial elections have produced some remarkable results, showing the solidity of the Congress Party followers, especially those In the United Provinces,
• In two constituencies, the Congress Party candidates havs five figure totals, while their opponents have nil.
The Lahore returning officer had to announce the success of a candidate whom he later, as a Magtaßrate, tries for a bank fraud.
A tie at Assam was decided on the toes of a coin and a Sikh candidate defteatled hie own father at Ambala.
