Catholic Association Tennis Match.

St. Joseph’s, New Plymouth, defeated SU Mary’t', Stratford, by 17 sets (127 games) to seven sets (90 games) in a match played under the control of the Catholic Lawu Tennis Association at Stratford at the Week-end. The results, with New Plymouth names first were:—■

Women's singles; Miss D. McCarthy beat Mist' M. Walsh 6—3, Mrs F. Rower beat Mrs Sinclair 6 —o, Miss M. Crawford beat Mrs Death 6—l, Miss E. Gray lost to Mrs Beattie 3—6, Miss C .Delany beat Mist' E. Sheehan 6—4, Miss C. Ryan beat Miss B. Bulman 6 —2.
