Cleaning Lacquer Pieces.

Trays' and boxes of lacquer should not be washed with soap and water, for it is liable to cause cracks in the surface. They should be rubbed with a pad of cotton wool dipped in milk or olive oil and afterwards polished with a soft, dry cloth. If they are greasy they should be sprinkled with dry, warm flour, which should be well rubbed over the whole surface until all the marks are removed.
