A depression is now crossing the Dominion while an anti-cyclone covers south-eastern Australia and is advancing slowly eastwards.
The forecast is for moderate to strong northerly to north-westerly winds becking to westerlies and south-wefsterlies after 24 to 36 hours: weather cloudy to overcast and rain probable with some heavy falls; temperature gradually becoming cooler; seas rather rough to rough.
