TWO TARANAKIANS.

Patea and New Plymouth

Men Chosen.

Two officers of the Taranaki Regiment have been selected as members of the military contingent, numbering 50, which will form part of New Zealand’s representation at the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth at London in May. Advice was received at New Plymouth on Saturday that Lieutenant Haddow, D.C.M., Patea, and Company Quarter-master-Sergeant H. G. Calgher, New Plymouth, will he included in the contingent.

The complete contingent will consist of the following officers and men, states a Wellington Press Association message:—r

Major Leckie, Captain Frickleton, Captain Garruth, Lieutenant D. Sweetzer, Lieutenant R. W. Haddow, Lieutenant A. A. Tennant, Flying-Officer D. E Grigg.

The men are as follows: Mounted Rifles.—D. O. Watson (North Auckland), H. J. Harris, D. Wickliffe (Auckland-East Coast), L. H-. Bregmen (Waikato), K. J. Murray (Wellington-West Coast), I. B. Gibbs (Manawatu). R. H. Matthews (Well-ingtpn-East Coast), G. T. Hoare (Nel-son-Mgrlborough), A. H. C. Nutt (Canterbury Yeomanry), R. Tall (Otago). Artillery: W. J. Grant, W. P. Aperahama (21st Field Battery), J. A. Boyd (17th Battery), L. G, Hodge (l?th Battery). Infantry: H. D. Walters (North Auckland), H. D. Lysnar (Auckland), J, Young (Hanraki), A. H. Boulton (Waikato), H. J. Calgher (Taranaki), R. Miles (Wellington-East Coast), H. R. Heiortl (Hawkes Bay), C. James (Wellington), M. G. Williams (Nel-son-Marlborough-West Coast), F. A. Gpnn (Canterbury), R. Hunter (Otago), A. G. McGregor (Southland). Engineers: N. W. Sarney (Ist Field Company). Signal Corps: G. W. Carter (Southern Depot Army Service), W. R, Arlow (Second Composite Company). The representatives of the regular forces are still to be selected, and a ballot is to be held to decide typo nurses. These names will be announede later, with the names of ten returned soldiers not members of the Territorial Forces.
