Druids’ Lodge Provides Merry Day.

The fourth annual picnic under the auspices of the Druids Lodgs was held at the camp site in King Edward Park yesterday. It is a special occasion for the entertainment of members’ families, and the committee, of which Mr R. J. Laird was chairman, worked well to make a happy day for the children. Fruit, lollies and ice-creams were distributed liberally at intervals in the sports programme. The weather was- ideal for the outing, and yonng and old en joyed themselves. Following were the results of the sports events: Toddlers race: P. Jeffares 1, D. Reed 2, S. Ludlam 3. Girls’ 50 yards: D. Evans 1, E. Hart 2, M. Rae 3. Boys’ 50 yards: R. Jeffares 1, T. Taylor 2, T.
