P. & T. QUOITS.
i Aitken Cup Competed For At Week-end. The P. and T. Aitken Quoits- Cup was competed for during the weekend. Sixteen started. Results are: First heat: Sinclair (handicap 85) 1, Claridge (scr) 2, Edwards (55) 3, Wills (35) 4. Eight started. Second heat: Boyle (50) 1, Kelly (95) 2, Cuff (90) 3, Anderson. Patea (-10) 4. Eight started. Final: Killy 1, Claridge 2, Sinclair 3. The final was productive of scire good throwing and at 150 six men had winning chances. Kelly a promising player, threw consistently throughout, and in an exciting finish won by 3 from Claridge (scr.) Sinclair heat Boyle and Anderson by one for third place. In the championship event Claridy 6 Was in good form and easily retained the honour.
