Hawkes Bay Farmers Opposed To Scheme. Press Association —Copyright. Dannevirke, Last Night. The provincial executive of the .Southern Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Union passed a motion that it > ' s emphatically opposed to the principal of guaranteed prices and, having in view of the position in regard to the guaranteed prices for the dairy industry, strongly protested against a. fix- , ed price for wool and meat being brought into effect.
