National Scheme Discussed By Conference. Press Association—Copyright. Wellington, To-day. A symposium on the realisation of library Ideals which embraced various points in a national library system, was listened to and discussed by delegates at the final session of the Nev.' Zealand Library Assaciations’ Conference which concluded yesterday. Williams (Masterton), the following motion was carried unanimously: “That this conference instructs the ceuncil of the association to commend to the Government, local bodies and people of Nets' Zealand, the project of a national library scheme as outlined to this conference, and in Particular urges that early consideration be given to the possibility of making existing library services free, ercf-plfng in the care of light fiction,"
